Firefighters attended one of their first calls of 2023 after a person was injured by a firework in a Lake District town.
A crew was called at 12.20am on January 1 to North Road Ambleside after the incident.
Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service said: “The fire service administered first aid to one casualty who sustained injuries from a firework. Crews were detained approximately 30 minutes.”
