Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault in Whitehaven.
A man sustained facial injuries following an assault which occurred on Duke Street at about 2am on December 30 near the taxi rank.
Officers are asking for anyone who witnessed this incident and who can assist this investigation to contact them.
