Two men burst into a South Lakes home and demanded money from the occupants in an early evening raid.
The men entered the property on Jenkin Rise in Kendal at around 6.15pm on Saturday, January 14.
Police are appealing for witnesses who may have seen two males running from the area of Jenkin Rise onto Kentdale Road at the time of the offence.
Officers are also asking for anyone who was driving in the area at the time to check any dashcam footage they may have that may have captured the men.
