Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was allegedly assaulted and left with facial injuries.
The incident took place on January 2 on the junction of Poplar Grove and Hart street in Ulverston at around 4.30pm.
The woman is alleged to have been assaulted by another woman who hit her in the face.
Officers are appealing for any witnesses to come forward and are keen to hear from a man walking his dog.
