Police are appealing for witnesses after reports that a cyclist was hit by a car and assaulted by the driver in Carlisle.
The incident happened at around 8am on Thursday in the area of the Caldewgate roundabout/Church Street.
No injuries were reported. Officers are investigating and appealing to anyone who was in that area at that time and who may have witnessed something to get in touch.
