Richard Hammond has paid a surprise visit to a West Cumbrian pub.
The Wild Duck in Branthwaite, Workington, welcomed the former Top Gear presenter for lunch on Sunday.
Taking to social media, the pub said: “What an absolute gentleman! Richard Hammond in for lunch today. Top food for Top Gear.”
The star was also spotted driving a classic car elsewhere in the county, including the Kirkstile Inn near Cockermouth and stopped several times along the way to take pictures with fans.
