Police are investigating an incident of fraud involving traders canvassing for garden work in the Stanwix area of Carlisle.
It happened at lunchtime on Friday March 17, in the Firlands area.
Officers would like to speak to anyone who may been offered gardening services by three men.
Two are described as in their 20s and 30s and an older male who were driving a Peugeot van.
