Here are our selection of photos from the last game in the 2023 Uppies and Downies series in Workington.

Despite some heroic efforts from the Downies, Uppies claimed their third victory of the year – making it a whitewash.

One unlikely hero of the series is Alan Hall, 16, who was picking up discarded cans at the games. You can read about him – and a Go Fund Me page set up for him – here
