Firefighters were called to tackle a blaze in north Cumbria last night.
Cumbria Fire & Rescue Service said several fire crews were called to the incident in Armathwaite, south of Carlisle, yesterday, Wednesday July 22, at around 8pm.
It is understood the fire was in an empty building and there were no reported casualties.
People were asked to avoid the area and not to attend the scene. People living in the vicinity were also asked to keep their windows closed.
