Carlisle Hockey Club is launching a new programme this summer aimed at five to seven-year-olds.
The children will find out about the game in eight introductory sessions and also get two sticks, a ball and a personalised T-shirt.
The programme costs £40 and begins on July 1 at Austin Friars School from 2.30pm to 3.30pm.
Carlisle Hockey Club said children taking part would benefit from:
- A focus on fundamental movement skills
- Fun and engaging sessions for all
- Help increase confidence, building resilience and thinking creatively
- Development of basic dribbling, passing and goal scoring hockey skills
- Suitable for all children regardless of ability
- Safe appropriately sized equipment
