A reminder has been issued that a recycling centre is set to be closed for another two weeks.
Maintenance work at Ambleside Household Waste Recycling Centre is being undertake to improve drainage at the site, run by Westmorland and Furness Council.
The site in Rothay Holme, off the A593, is due to reopen on Wednesday, May 10.
The council’s website says: “We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. Please check our website for updates to changes to the plan or a delay in reopening Ambleside Household Recycling Centre. If the work is completed ahead of time, the site will reopen earlier.”
The centre closed on Monday, April 17.
