Police are investigating reports of numerous vehicle where access had been gained and items stolen in the area of Cummersdale, Carlisle.
The incident occurred on the overnight on May 21.
Police were made aware of several reports of persons stating someone had gained access to their vehicles and some had items taken.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious on those dates or for anyone who may have CCTV/dashcam footage within the vicinity.
Police would like to remind members of the public to be vigilant and to secure their properties and vehicles at all times.
