Workington Town have signed former Whitehaven forward Jake Bradley until the end of the 2024 season.
Whitehaven announced earlier today that they had agreed to release the 22-year-old and it was no surprise when Town followed-up with confirmation they had signed him.
Bradley, a former Hensingham amateur had been on a short-term loan with Town last month and although only playing on one game impressed with his attitude and ability.
In confirming the signing Town coach Anthony Murray said: “He is another talented young Cumbrian and fits the bill in what we are trying to build at Workington in our quest to push on as a team and club.
“Jake has Championship experience and can play in a few positions which will add even more quality to our team and competition for places.”
Town fans are likely to get their first look at Bradley when they resume their League One programme a week on Sunday at home to Cornwall.
