A man will appear at court in connection with an assault in Carlisle city centre.
Nickolas Dibben, 37, of no fixed address, was charged with attempt to cause grievous bodily harm and assault of an emergency worker.
Dibben will appear before North Cumbria Magistrates’ Court today.
The charges follow an investigation into an incident which occurred yesterday, May 31, in the morning on the city’s English Street.
