A luxury Lake District hotel has unveiled the completion of £1.5 million garden suites.

Twelve opulent spa garden suites have been created at the Armathwaite Hall Hotel & Spa at Bassenthwaite. It follows the recent extension and development of public spaces in the hotel including the Lake View Restaurant, lounge and reception areas.

The new spa garden suites project was in response to the surging demand from the luxury market, demonstrating the hotel’s commitment to providing more expansive and lavish accommodation for its spa guests.

Nestled near to the main house, the new spa garden suites offer access to the hotel’s award-winning facilities.

Guests can immerse themselves in an oasis of tranquillity as each suite integrates with the lush landscape just beyond its doors and are accessible via a private patio, the hotel said.

The layout of the new suites has been designed in partnership with architect Unwin Jones and each include a generous lobby area, a lavish four-piece bathroom, a deluxe bedroom and a lounge adorned with expansive glazed windows that provide views of the garden.

General manager Simon Steele said: “At Armathwaite Hall, we are dedicated to continuously improving our guests’ experience and we are confident that our enhanced and upgraded suites will surpass their expectations, providing them with an exceptional space to unwind and rejuvenate.”
