Three men are set to appear in crown court after a serious assault in West Cumbria.
James Martin, 50, of St James Court, Whitehaven, Dane Eldridge-Dalton, 35, of no fixed address and Jordan Alan Starkey, 31, of no fixed address, appeared at Workington Magistrates Court yesterday, June 12, charged with wounding with intent, robbery and false imprisonment.
The charges follow an investigation into an incident which occurred in Whitehaven on Friday June 9.
The victim, a man in his 40s, suffered serious injuries and is continuing to receive hospital treatment.
A plea and trial preparation hearing is scheduled for July 10 at Carlisle Crown Court.
