People across the UK have been left confused by a Cumbrian roundabout after it was featured on a national driving page.
Idiot UK Drivers Exposed shared the question of the day post on Blackbeck roundabout to its 1.2 million Facebook followers this morning.
An anonymous regular user of the roundabout sent the question into the page – asking the whole country how they would navigate it.
The poster said: “I use this roundabout daily and nobody seems to know how to drive around it.

“If you are coming out of the junction marked orange and heading to the one marked red, do you use the left or right lane? Personally, I always use the left lane.”
Thousands of people have since commented on the post to share their thoughts on which lane is the correct option.
Dozens said they would opt for the right lane, with it being the third exit and past the 12 o’clock point on the roundabout, while others said using the left lane is down to local knowledge.
The roundabout has a sign asking drivers to give way when approaching the Haile turn-off – which prompted some people to say it is ‘common sense’ to use the left lane to avoid creating congested traffic.

It’s a roundabout used daily by Sellafield workers as well as people living or working further afield in Gosforth, Seascale and beyond – and the debate on the correct lane to use has been going on for years.
It’s also not the only unusual roundabout in the area as St Thomas’ Cross roundabout, which is further down the A595 near Egremont, also has one traffic light and give way signs.
