A Keswick woman has secured a donation from the Fatface Foundation for the Lake District Calvert Trust.

Natalie Barry, who works at Fatface in Keswick, secured £250 from the foundation. Natalie’s eldest daughter is a regular visitor to Calvert Stables and comes back buzzing every time, she said.

“Huge thanks to Natalie and the Fatface Foundation,” said Louise Dunn, trustee at the Lake District Calvert Trust.

“It’s great that retailers in Keswick empower local employees in this way by asking them to nominate local charities that they really care about.

“We are delighted to know how much our charity means to this family and all the people whose family members visit the centre for activity breaks, or the stables for riding and equine-related activities.”

Set up in 2009, the Fatface Foundation was created to make a positive and enduring difference and has raised over £2 million for charities across the UK.

Louise added: “We are so grateful to all our supporters.  Whether you are an individual or a business there are so many ways to get involved with the Lake District Calvert Trust.”
