Modern artist Michelle Mackie is set to unveil her latest work in the Lake District this summer.
It is the second time she has chosen to exclusively reveal her work at the family-owned Windermere Fine Art Gallery.
She attended the gallery in 2022 to unveil her first collection in person since the COVID-19 lockdowns and said she enjoyed meeting everyone in Windermere so much she decided to return.
The two-day event, on August 11 and 12, will see Michelle in the gallery to meet and greet fans and talk about the inspiration behind her latest pieces.
The gallery is run by husband and wife Dawn and Matthew Titherington.
Dawn said: “We think Michelle has such a strong and unique style and absolutely love her work so we’re over the moon to be chosen as the place in the UK to reveal her latest collection first.
“Our collection of artists can only typically be seen in London or Manchester art galleries and this preview event is another accolade for us to show we’re at the forefront of modern and collectible art.
“We’ll be serving canapes and drinks at our VIP evening, and we hope to see collectors and art enthusiasts from the whole of Cumbria.
“Our Saturday meet and greet with Michelle is also a great opportunity to come down and chat to her and be one of the first people in the UK to get their hands on her limited, collectors’ edition of prints or an original.”
Michelle’s new collection is in her style of digital art featuring a female model, who has been photographed in real life and then layered with other imagery.
