A former leader of the Green Party will be talking about her new book at a Cumbrian bookshop later this month.
Natalie Bennett, who has published Change Everything, will be appearing at Verey Books in Pooley Bridge on May 24.
Baroness Bennett of Manor Castle, is an Australian-British politician and journalist who served as leader of the Green Party of England and Wales from 2012 to 2016.
She was given a peerage in Theresa May’s 2019 resignation honours.
Verey Books owner Al Verey said: “In such an important election year it seemed right to invite Natalie, with her decades of political experience. Political tribalism aside, we all want a better Britain, a better future for our children.
“I like the ambition of Natalie’s message and hope it might provide food for thought as we consider the future of our politics and country.”
Tickets for the event are £10 and include a welcome drink.
