
A man has been seriously injured in a Carlisle collision.
The man – a pedestrian – was taken to the city’s Cumberland Infirmary for treatment.
Police were called at around 7.20am yesterday, July 24, to Castle Way to a report of a collision between a car and a male pedestrian.
They closed the road from Shaddongate to Hardwicke Circus and traffic was diverted past Dixon’s Chimney.
The road reopened at around 9.35am.
