Two men have appeared in court after police found £40,000-worth of cannabis in a vehicle on the M6.
Officers stopped the vehicle near Kendal on July 22 and seized 4kg of cannabis.
The two men appeared at Barrow Magistrates Court yesterday.
Jhanzaib Gul, 50, of Rylstone Gardens, Bradford, was charged with possession with intent to supply cannabis and has been released on conditional bail.
Joseph McCrory, 42, of Forber Grove, Bradford, was charged with possession with intent to supply cannabis and possession of cannabis and was remanded in custody.
