A Kirkby Lonsdale hotel is on the market for £3 million.

Hipping Hall, owned by the Wildsmith family, closed for good on July 24.

On the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, opened as a restaurant with rooms around 20 years ago.

It is on the market with Christie and Co.

The venue has 15 bedrooms and a fine dining restaurant for up to 30 covers, plus around 4.75 acres of landscaped gardens.

Christie and Co said: “A renowned restaurant with rooms in North Lancashire, Hipping Hall stands proudly in the upper reaches of Lancashire, where the Red Rose county sits between its Yorkshire and Cumbrian cousins.

“Sitting on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales and within a few miles of the Lake District, Hipping Hall is the perfect venue to explore the very best of what the North West has to offer.”

The Wildsmith Group put The Ryebeck Hotel in Windermere up for sale in May, for over £3 million.

The Wildsmith Group still operates Forest Side in Grasmere, which holds a Michelin star.
