Unisun Athletic finally get the opportunity to kick off their Cumberland County League Premier Division campaign this Saturday when they will entertain Cleator Moor Celtic Reserves at the Sheepmount, Carlisle.

It’s the resumption of the League programme after the break for the bank holiday weekend.

Celtic Reserves will be hoping to continue winning way’s following their 3-0 opening day win against Workington AFC Reserves.

Aspatria, who were 5-2 winners on the opening day will be aiming to maintain their 100 per cent record when they travel to Maryport Athletic, a side who started match day one with a 1-1 draw.

Gosforth will be attempting to get a positive result at the second attempt following their opening day 5-2 defeat when they travel to Wigton Harriers, a club also searching for their first three points.

Elsewhere, Workington AFC Reserves welcome Carlisle City Development with both clubs also looking for their first wins of the new campaign.

In Division One, Whitehaven Miners Social Development will be aiming to put the 7-1 defeat by Dearham United behind them and get a positive result when they travel to Windscale Reserves.

Windscale will also be looking for a better outcome this time round after they were beaten on the opening day by Bransty Rangers 3-1.

Staying with Bransty Rangers, they will be hoping to add to their opening day victory when they entertain Cockermouth, a club who themselves started the season strongly with a 6-0 win.

Encouraged by their fine win on match day one, top of the table newcomers Dearham United travel to Whitehaven AFC Reserves.

Finally, like Unisun in the Premier Division, Silloth are starting their campaign on Saturday hosting Keswick at Eden Street.

PREMIER DIVISION:

  • Maryport Athletic v Aspatria
  • Unisun Athletic v Cleator Moor Celtic Reserves
  • Wigton Harriers v Gosforth
  • Workington AFC Reserves v Carlisle City Development

DIVISION ONE:
