The second day of Whitehaven Alive basked in a heatwave as thousands of people congregated on the harbourside for fun and music.
A funfair, acoustic acts and 70 stalls filled the harbourside – and people took advantage of the glorious weather.
It was busy from around 9.30am onwards as people browsed the myriad stalls – and around 80 per cent were local businesses and charities – and met up with friends.
The Red Arrows – scheduled to arrive at 2.40pm – turned up fashionably early by around 10 minutes, taking many people by surprise.
Music today was supplied by Danny Dunnery, The Northern Threads, Tribes, Jake Bugg and The Vaccines.
Tomorrow sees Geno Washington, Real Thing, Boney M and Bjorn Again in the main arena.
Here’s some photos from Whitehaven Alive so far. Did we get you today?
