Carers Support South Lakes Carers Charity Ball 2022

A Cumbrian charity is hosting a glamorous event to raise funds for unpaid carer services.

Carer Support South Lakes has announced an open invitation to dress to impress and enjoy their annual Carers Charity Ball 2023 at the Castle Green Hotel in Kendal on Friday, November 17 from 6.45pm to 12.30am.

Fundraiser Marian Graveson said: “Our annual Charity Carers Ball has become something of a highlight in the social calendar, and this year will be no exception.

“All proceeds from this event will go towards supporting unpaid carers from five years old to over 100 years old in the South Lakes.

“The night is set to be filled with delicious food, our signature auction, an amazing raffle, dancing and entertainment – so not only with guests be making a very real difference to local people’s lives, they will have a blast in the process.”

There are more than 56,400 unpaid carers in Cumbrian. Carer Support South Lakeland is part of Carer Support Cumbria. A well-established and experienced carer support provider, it provides advice and support for unpaid carers. The charity relies on fundraising and donations and the Carers Charity Ball is one of the key fundraisers of the year.

Tickets for the event are £50 per person and there is a private bar, free parking and the venue is easy access for all abilities. Tickets are available from Carer Support South Lakes and by emailing [email protected].
