West Cumbrian post office closed after incident

A West Cumbrian post office is closed after an incident overnight.

The Post Office on King Street in Whitehaven has been boarded up.

The branch will reopen tomorrow, Wednesday September 20.

Police issued a statement this afternoon to say a man had been arrested after a cannabis farm was found in a King Street property.

it is understood police used the Post Office to gain entry to the property.
