Firefighters from Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service are hoping to raise buckets full of cash in a unique charity challenge on Saturday.
Egremont Fire Station has launched its first ever bucket challenge, in which crews and supporters from Egremont and neighbouring stations will pass a bucket of water between them for the nine-mile route to Whitehaven Harbour.
Donations collected will go to The Fire Fighters Charity, which offers specialist, lifelong support for the UK’s fire service community.
