The quarter final draw for the Cumbria Cup has been made with the ties to be played on or before November 25.

Only one first round game went ahead as planned with Wigton scoring a convincing win at Windermere.

Egremont pulled out of their game at Aspatria while Whitehaven also forfeited their trip to Keswick.

The quarter finals have thrown up four intriguing ties which could be close-run contests.

Wigton are rewarded for their win in the Lakes with a home tie against fellow Counties 1 Cumbria side Carlisle.

Aspatria and Cockermouth fought out a tight Regional 2 North game at Strawberry How recently with the Black Reds edging it by a point.

In the Cup-tie Aspatria will have home advantage at Bower Park.

Kirkby Lonsdale suffered relegation last season and now ply their trade in Regional 2 North West.

They have won twice so far after going winless last season and face an interesting home tie against Upper Eden who won promotion to Regional 2 North last season.

The fourth tie sees the holders Penrith entertain neighbours Keswick.
