Plenty to celebrate for Dearham Hound Trailing Club

Dearham Hound Trailing Club

Dearham Hound Trailing Club held their annual presentation last night – with plenty to celebrate.

The village-based kennel of Joe Abram and Nicola McMaster pulled-off the senior and puppy double with Silver Dream and Rodney Raider, two more trophies in what has been an exceptional season.

Rodney Raider, the 2023 puppy champion, won the trophy for his age group but also won the Ike Walker Memorial Trophy.

The presentation, buffet and dance was held in Brigham Social Club and the other award winners were as follows:

Open non winners – Fidget; Open maidens – Samcro; Open restricted was a tie between Kinniside Bobby and Dream Catcher.

The trophies for the Wardhall points were as follows:

Hounds – Miterdale Duchess; Pups – Foxparke Honk Honk; Jimmy Crone Memorial Trophy – Lady Million; Jackie Hewitson Memorial Trophy – Artist; Michael Renney Memorial Trophy – Huntsman’s Tebel; Eric Walker Memorial Trophy – Money Talks.
