
Now completely unexpected, but Cumbria’s rugby union clubs appear to be heading for a standstill today.
Most of the League games involving Cumbrian clubs were called off last night after pitch inspections.
Three games will be decided after pitch inspections this morning.
In Regional 1 North West joint leaders Macclesfield will be informing Kendal whether they should travel.
In actual fact Kendal were the only Cumbrian side in League action due to travel outside the county.
Meanwhile back at Mint Bridge Kendal will be holding their own inspection ahead of a scheduled Second team game with Fulwood.
There’s also an inspection ahead of the Counties 1 Cumbria clash between Penrith 2nds and St. Benedict’s.
