Barrow Raiders have confirmed their third and final pre-season friendly for Sunday January 21 against Hunslet.
Paul Crarey’s side will welcome the Betfred League 1 side to Craven Park for a 3pm kick-off.
This fixture follows previously-announced friendlies against Rochdale Hornets (Sunday January 7, 2pm) and North Wales Crusaders (Saturday January 13, 3pm).
The Raiders will also round off 2023 by hosting a Barrow & District Select side in Dan Toal’s testimonial match on Saturday December 30 (2pm kick-off).
The club’s first taste of competitive action in 2024 will come on Sunday, January 28 at Workington Town in the group stages of the AB Sundecks 1895 Cup.
Fixtures for the 2024 Betfred Championship season start with a trip to Widnes Vikings in Round 1 on Sunday March 17.
Hunslet finished 2nd in League 1 last season but went on to be knocked out of the play-offs in the preliminary final by North Wales.
