Woman threatened at South Cumbrian petrol station

Police are investigating after a woman was threatened at a South Cumbrian petrol station.

The incident happened at the Esso garage on Mountbarrow Road in Ulverston on December 6 at around 3.30pm.

It was reported that a woman, aged between 40 and 50 years old, shouted towards the victim and displayed body language that was deemed to be threatening in the station and on the forecourt.

Officers said they were investigating it as a common assault, which can be committed by an act indicating an intention to use unlawful violence against another.

Police are investigating a case of common assault that occurred on 6 December 2023 at around 3:30pm at Esso Mountbarrow, Ulverston.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident is urged to come forward.
