Tributes have been paid to Maryport Coastguard Rescue Team volunteer Will Douglas.
The team posted on its Facebook page: “Our hearts and those of the wider Coastguard family are heavy.
“Our friend and colleague Will has passed away and our thoughts are very much with his family.
“Losing a member of the HM Coastguard family is deeply painful to all of us. We train together and we serve together.
“And now we grieve together for Will’s loss and will look to support each other and his family.
“We will miss him more than we can say, but for now, MPT 10, stand down.”
