Drivers were urged to avoid the A590 near Ulverston due to a collision yesterday afternoon.
The road was blocked in both directions at Oubas Hill and traffic was slow due to the incident near the Shell petrol station on Thursday, January 4.
Police said there were no reported serious injuries following the collision, reported at 2.33pm, but it caused an obstruction.
