A man has been arrested after a fight on New Year’s Eve in Carlisle city centre.
Another man, in his 20s, was hit by a glass bottle and sustained a cut to his head during the incident in the Lowther Arcade at about 11.40pm.
A man, in his mid-20s, was arrested in connection with the incident and has been bailed while investigations continue.
Officers have released an appeal today, January 12, for any witnesses to the incident or anyone with information to contact them.
