Thieves broke in to a Workington home in the early hours and stole keys to a car parked outside before setting it on fire.
The silver Vauxhall insignia, registration number DS63 UDG, was taken from Falcon Street around 4.30am yesterday, January 13.
The vehicle was been found today, Jan 14, at around 3.30am, on fire in the recreational area near Bankfield, off Newlands Lane, Workington.
Police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed either of these incidents or the vehicle at any point in between the two incidents to make contact.
