Trespassers entered a farmyard and broke into three shipping containers – but left empty handed.
Police are investigating the incident, which took place between December 22 and December 26 at the farm, on the A684 about 200 metres north east from the access road to Ray Gill at Garsdale Head, near Sedbergh.
The trespassers opened two shipping containers that were unlocked, and forced entry into a third by snapping its front external lock.
