Alcohol stolen from Barrow supermarket

Bottles of alcohol were stolen from a Barrow supermarket on Friday.

The incident happened at around 7.30pm at Tesco on Hindpool Road.

Police said it involved two men in their late 20s to early 30s.

One of the men is described as white, around 5ft 6in, and of a slim build.

He was wearing black skinny jeans, a dark brown jacket with a fur lined hood and white trainers.

The other man is described as white, 5ft 8in and of a medium build. He was wearing a black fleece top with grey jogging bottoms and black trainers.

Police are asking for anyone who witnessed the incident, or who can help identify either of the two men to contact police.
