
Many Workington Reds fans will have woken up this morning to the news that manager Danny Grainger would be leaving at the end if the season.
Grainger has followed Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp in making an early decision on his future with his contract completed.
There have been whispers that he might be going in the summer, and there have been certain criticisms aimed at him this season despite his achievements at Borough Park.
It all adds up to a huge task for the Workington board in finding the right man to replace him as several members of the current squad are sadly coming to the end of their careers.
