
Cumbria Drive It Day will be held this weekend.
Taking place at Dalemain, near Penrith on Sunday, it is organised by Wigton Motor Club, the North’s largest motor club.
Open between 11am and 2pm, it is open to all owners of historic and classic vehicles, cars, bikes, tractors and lorries.
Each vehicle is asked to donate £5 to the club’s nominated charities for 2024, Carers West Cumbria and Jigsaw, Cumbria’s Children’s Hospice.
Wigton Motor Club is now in its 101st year and has over 1,000 members. It recently opened its HQ building, The Motor House, at Moota, near Cockermouth.
It runs events, competitions, tours and shows plus holds social gatherings.
Wigton Motor Club recently won Car Club of the Year at the Practical Classics and Restoration Show at the NEC.
