A man has been arrested after a car was spotted being driven erratically in Carlisle.
At around 6.10pm on Friday, April, the black Volvo S60 NV12XHL was driven erratically in the Briar Bank/Kingstown Road/Windsor Way/Edderside Drive area with the front tyre detached from the rim in a dangerous condition.
The vehicle was found by police in the Edderside Drive area of the city and a man arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, disqualified driving, driving without insurance and driving whilst unfit through drugs. He was subsequently released under investigation.
Police would like to appeal to anyone in the area or on this route at the time who could provide a witness account or CCTV/dash camera footage.
