Celebrate all things sausage at a sizzling event coming up this weekend at Muncaster Castle.

The family-friendly three-day event features local sausage maker stalls, food and drinks, children’s activities, a sausage dog competition and more!

Held on Saturday, May 4, Sunday May 5 and Monday May 6, organisers promise a fun day out for all the family.

Not only that, but sausage makers from across the land will be joining in the fun for a chance to be crowned Sausage Champion 2024!

Seek out super sausage makers around the gardens and sample their finest sausage – vegan sausages are available too.

Upgrade to our Sausage Tasting ticket to take part in voting for the best sausage once you have tried them all!

You can also join the sizzle with Bangers & Dash! Race through sausage-themed obstacles, aim for the fastest time, and top the leaderboard for glory!

There are two fantastic markets to visit this year too.

Crafted in Cumbria stalls will be celebrating Cumbria crafters and organisers are teaming up with Taste Cumbria, who are joining in the fun with a small food and drink market.

You can also grab a drink at the Muncaster Bar and there are flying displays from the World of Owls and Sky Hunters.
