Summer cricket camps for youngsters of all ages will be held across Cumbria this summer.
Cumbria Cricket has organised 30 camps for children.
It said: “The camps are a great opportunity for children across Cumbria to stay active during the summer holidays, learn new skills, make new friends and enjoy cricket in a fun, welcoming environment with our qualified coaches.”
The camps include two camps that are free thanks to funding by Penrith Cricket Club.
Softball camps
These camps are aimed at children aged five to eight and no equipment is required.
Cumbria Cricket said: “We are, however, open to accepting older children if they are less comfortable playing hardball cricket.”
Softball camps run from 10am to 3pm and cost £25.
There is also an option to drop children off at 9am and collect at 4pm, with each of those additional hours costing £10, making a the full day £45.
Payment will be taken on the day by card.

Hardball camps
Hardball camps are aimed at players aged nine to 15 with hardball experience.
Players must bring their own equipment (bat, helmet, box and pads).
Hardball camps from 9am to 3pm and cost £35.
There is also an option to drop children off at 9am, with this additional hour costing £10, making a the full day £45.
Payment will be taken on the day by card.
