Nominations have opened for the 2025 Love Barrow Awards.

Celebrating its 20th anniversary, the awards recognise local people and community groups that go the extra mile to give back to the South Lakes area.

The 2024 Love Barrow Awards saw a record of over 500 nominations across eight award categories, where three individuals or organisations were selected in each category as finalists to attend the celebration evening.

The Love Barrow Awards night will once again be held at The Forum in Barrow March 7 2025 with special celebrations building through 2024 and in to 2025 to mark this significant milestone.

Chair of the Love Barrow Awards committee DT Guest said “Although the awards evening is nine months away, planning is already underway to make the 2025 awards bigger and better than ever before.

“Nominations are now open, and we want to build further on the success of the previous years. The awards are only possible due to the fantastic support we receive from our sponsors, and we remain particularly grateful to them.

“This year we would love to see even more nominations that recognise those people who really do help others in our community. The 2025 awards will recognise the impact and contribution to the Furness Peninsula that some of the previous 20 years finalists have had as well as turn the spotlight on our community superstars of the last 12 months.

Nominations for the Love Barrow Awards 2025 close on Friday September 13
