The West Cumbria Amalgamation birds at Guernsey for a Friday liberation have been held over.
Bad weather in the channel and in southern England meant the birds stayed on the island and the weather was going to be assessed tomorrow.
However, the weather does not appear to be picking-up on the channel for a few days and the birds are being brought back to England for a possible liberation on Sunday from Yeovil.
The Amalgamation birds are in a Cumbria Combine entry of 122 birds which are being transported along with three Scottish Federations.
The West Cumbrian birds flew from Guernsey a fortnight ago and after this second race from the island there are just two old bird races left, both from France.
