The funeral of former Carlisle United chairman Andrew Jenkins will be on Thursday, July 25.
Fans wanting to pay their respects are encouraged to come to the west side of Brunton Park – due to ongoing building work – around 11am as the funeral cortege is expected to be doing a lap of the stadium around 11.15am.
The cortege will then make its way to Pioneer Foods at Rosehill Estate before going to Wetheral Parish Church for the service at noon.
The club will be closed all day as a mark of respect to allow staff to attend the funeral, including the ticket office, admin offices and Blues Store.
Ahead of Carlisle’s first home league game of the season against Barrow on Saturday August 17, the club will pay tribute to the chairman emeritus.
