A Carlisle man has been charged with rape.
Brian Watson, 22, of Low Meadow, has been remanded in custody.
He is due to appear at Carlisle Crown Court on August 15.
The charge relates to an incident which occurred in Carlisle on the evening of Tuesday, July 16.
