Firefighters were called out to tackle a blaze in Barrow yesterday.
The incident, on Salthouse Road, happened last night, Monday, July 29, our colleagues at Cumbria Road Watch are reporting.
A section of the road had to be closed following the fire while Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service and Cumbria police made the road safe.
People were asked to avoid the area as emergency services warned the road could be closed for some time.
