Beverley Hainsworth and her family

The family of a woman killed in a collision on the A684 have paid tribute to her.

Beverley Hainsworth, 55, was the pillion passenger on a Kawasaki motorbike involved in the collision at the junction with M6 on Sunday afternoon.

The incident also involved a grey Audi A3.

It happened at around 2.20pm and Mrs Hainsworth, of Pickering, North Yorkshire, died at the scene.

Beverley’s family said: “Bev was a much-loved wife to David, mother to David and Becky, daughter to Doreen and friend to many. Bev, always selfless and happy to help anyone, was sadly taken too soon.

“She was out doing something she loved with dad on the bike going to her favourite place – Keswick.

“We will miss her every day and hope she is somewhere nice with people she loves.”

Police are continuing to appeal for information about the collision. Call 101.
